the links that go to other people's blogs are not showing up... if you missed it.
so any clue how I fix it? you can hover over of highlight them and see it, but...
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

broken up in two parts for your benefit! :D
I'm not dead, I'm still here. just... preoccupied I suppose. let me say though, I love the setting that Guildylocks has for the order her blogs are listed in. it makes it really easy to check up on everyone :)
--pt 1 of my day--
so today I went babysitting. idk, I guess diapers are more complex than I give them credit for, b/c after I changed a VERY pee-y diaper, the kid does a number two. on my lap. maybe a third of it was actually in the diaper. gross... the rest is on my pants and on my shirt.
So I called home from their house phone. no answer. I called Chaelomen's cell. it was off. I used my cell phone to call MJ's cell. it was off. one more attempt at the house phone b/c I don't even love Jack Jack enough to sit there w/ his crap on my clothing, and Chaelomen answers. THANK YOU. haha
MJ brought over some new clothes for me to change into and the rest of the babysitting went totally smooth.
--pt 2 of my day--
So originally, being MLKJr Day and hence having no school, Sara and I were going to hang out. then, things happened and we couldn't so I was going babysitting. then things happened and she could again, so we decided to go to Taco Bell after I was done babysitting for a late lunch. yum.
We both drove down there, separately b/c you need your license for 6 months before you can have someone else in the car w/ you legally. so after Taco Bell, we have like 40 minutes more to hang out before she has to go home and so we're thinking Wendy's for a drink and some french fries. so the closer Wendy's, and the one I want a drink from, is on 120th and York. but since I hear 120th and CO together so frequently, they are very interchangable in my mind. so we're in the right lane to turn onto 120th and I'm leading the way when I think "crap, we need to be in the next lane" and there was plenty of room to get over, so I did. there was enough room for Sara, too, so we wouldn't lose each other.
but then there was a motorcycle and another car that pulled up behind me, forcing her in her lane and me in mine. so that's about the time I think a phone call would be good. too bad my phone was on it's last brink of life while I was babysitting so I just left it at home... haha
we kinda drove in a few circles around each other, not knowing for sure where the other would be but eventually met up just inside of my subdivision and decided that instead we want IntaJuice, if we still go anywhere. then decide that in the now 20 minutes we have before Sara had to leave, there wasn't enough time to get there and back. woo
it was a good day, over all though.

Merry Christmas!
So I think it was fun to have everyone over for Christmas. we should do it again sometime.
And thanks, XKorDave, for the phone charger.
I needed it, b/c this one day, I'm feeding my rat. I took out her dish and filled it w/ food, then put it back in the exact same spot it was in. I knew it was the same spot, b/c it was outlined by a black ring. After seeing the the strange black ring I sat there thinking "what is that?" so I traced it around her cage and followed it out and plugged into an outlet. I freaked out a little and pulled the cord out of her cage to discover what its true purpose is-- to charge my phone.
Then I took my rat out of her cage and she was kinda... spazzy... haha
but she's fine now.
Rats. what're you gonna do with them?

Rise Against! and blood. in my mouth.
Chaelomen took me to a Rise Against concert on Thursday and I have to say, it was pretty awesome. haha
But by took me, I mean I drove to a Park-n-Ride and rode the bus to right near his school. [btw everyone, I have my license now] and [oh, and a car] then he and Amber met me at the bus stop and we went to Chipotle, where I paid in lots of loose change. woo haha. At which point Amber noticed that our tickets say the concert starts 6, not 7 like I had told everyone. We left right after that haha
In my defense, for the "the concert starts at 7" thing, no one started playing until 7. I think 6 is when they started letting people into the theater. The Filmore. And they didn't even pretend to pat me down like the rest of the concerts that I've gone to, but whatever.
Anyway, there was Gaslight Anthem, Thrice, Alkaline Trio and Rise Against. I had heard a few songs from all of them and I thought "wow. what a crappy line up. you can't mix Rise Against w/ mellow bands." Then at the concert, what do you know, they weren't actually all that mellow. Besides not being mellow, [because that should neither make nor brake a band] I personally think they all sounded kinda awesome and would not mind looking into them more. I've heard Alkaline Trio on the radio and stuff, so I bought one of their shirts and also a Rise Against hoody. It was pretty sick.
Lalala and then the next day, I went to school, played Jeopardy in anatomy [and did not win because Luke didn't think that pneumonia was the right Final Jeopardy answer. It was.] and then ditched the rest of the school day to go to the oral surgeon-- I now have 4 less teeth than I did a week ago. But I didn't swell up like a chipmunk, sorry.
In fact, at school on Monday, only a few people even remembered/noticed that I got my wisdom teeth out. On the plus side, today I went back to get my lower two teeth-cavity's stitches removed which is more comfortable, and now I have a cool syringe thing to get food out of my teeth-holes haha. And random tastes of blood in my mouth. mmmm...
I think that concludes the highlights of my life since I last blogged... on Sunday haha.

haha woo
so I just wanted to let everyone know that I didn't forget about my blog!
haha actually I did... we got a new computer and I forgot about everything until a few weeks ago when MJ asked when I was gonna update it and I'm like "oh yeah. I have a blog."
then Chaelomen and MJ are talking about push ups and doing 100 in 6 weeks and I'm like "oh yeah. I was doing that, too." woo it was all gone haha. I'll have to start that again someday soon here.
anyway, I have like 2 or 3 stories I could and should tell, but not tonight b/c I need to go to bed.
but first, I'd like to share a cool Jack Handey quote with everyone that I don't think I've ever read before...
"Playing dead not only comes in handy when face to face with a bear, but also at important business meetings." I think that's a good lesson to remember. also
"One day one of my little nephews came up to me and asked me if the equator was a real line that went around the Earth, or just an imaginary one. I had to laugh. Laugh and laugh. Because I didn't know, and I thought that maybe by laughing he would forget what he asked me."
I hope you visit again soon to read some REAL blogs that hopefully Chaelomen and The Wizard haven't already said everything about. the end.
