Chaelomen took me to a Rise Against concert on Thursday and I have to say, it was pretty awesome. haha
But by took me, I mean I drove to a Park-n-Ride and rode the bus to right near his school. [btw everyone, I have my license now] and [oh, and a car] then he and Amber met me at the bus stop and we went to Chipotle, where I paid in lots of loose change. woo haha. At which point Amber noticed that our tickets say the concert starts 6, not 7 like I had told everyone. We left right after that haha
In my defense, for the "the concert starts at 7" thing, no one started playing until 7. I think 6 is when they started letting people into the theater. The Filmore. And they didn't even pretend to pat me down like the rest of the concerts that I've gone to, but whatever.
Anyway, there was Gaslight Anthem, Thrice, Alkaline Trio and Rise Against. I had heard a few songs from all of them and I thought "wow. what a crappy line up. you can't mix Rise Against w/ mellow bands." Then at the concert, what do you know, they weren't actually all that mellow. Besides not being mellow, [because that should neither make nor brake a band] I personally think they all sounded kinda awesome and would not mind looking into them more. I've heard Alkaline Trio on the radio and stuff, so I bought one of their shirts and also a Rise Against hoody. It was pretty sick.
Lalala and then the next day, I went to school, played Jeopardy in anatomy [and did not win because Luke didn't think that pneumonia was the right Final Jeopardy answer. It was.] and then ditched the rest of the school day to go to the oral surgeon-- I now have 4 less teeth than I did a week ago. But I didn't swell up like a chipmunk, sorry.
In fact, at school on Monday, only a few people even remembered/noticed that I got my wisdom teeth out. On the plus side, today I went back to get my lower two teeth-cavity's stitches removed which is more comfortable, and now I have a cool syringe thing to get food out of my teeth-holes haha. And random tastes of blood in my mouth. mmmm...
I think that concludes the highlights of my life since I last blogged... on Sunday haha.
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

haha woo
so I just wanted to let everyone know that I didn't forget about my blog!
haha actually I did... we got a new computer and I forgot about everything until a few weeks ago when MJ asked when I was gonna update it and I'm like "oh yeah. I have a blog."
then Chaelomen and MJ are talking about push ups and doing 100 in 6 weeks and I'm like "oh yeah. I was doing that, too." woo it was all gone haha. I'll have to start that again someday soon here.
anyway, I have like 2 or 3 stories I could and should tell, but not tonight b/c I need to go to bed.
but first, I'd like to share a cool Jack Handey quote with everyone that I don't think I've ever read before...
"Playing dead not only comes in handy when face to face with a bear, but also at important business meetings." I think that's a good lesson to remember. also
"One day one of my little nephews came up to me and asked me if the equator was a real line that went around the Earth, or just an imaginary one. I had to laugh. Laugh and laugh. Because I didn't know, and I thought that maybe by laughing he would forget what he asked me."
I hope you visit again soon to read some REAL blogs that hopefully Chaelomen and The Wizard haven't already said everything about. the end.
